Transportation and Disposal Services

ChemPak specialists can provide technical assistance with proper hazardous waste storage in compliance with State Regulatory Agency requirements and assist with effective minimization of       hazardous waste generation where applicable.  In consultation with clients, ChemPak specialists can offer suggestions for the streamlining of waste generation processes to ensure a more cost effective approach from point of generation through final disposal.

ChemPak specialists utilize the most current D.O.T. packaging guidelines to comply with the Performance Oriented Packaging Standards issued under HM-181. UN Rated containers with an inert  packaging material called vermiculite are used to comply with these standards as well as to minimize damage to inner containers and the potential reactions that can occur. Different disposal facilities may require unique packaging requirements that fall outside D.O.T. regulations. ChemPak specialists can adjust to the differing requirements of each facility to ensure a smooth approval process and timely removal of waste from customer sites. All containers generated in the packaging process will have  appropriate labeling and hazardous communication markings to comply with proper hazardous waste storage per State Environmental Agency requirements.  In addition, accumulation start dates will be marked on each container to ensure the appropriate storage time limits are being monitored.
